Because of his fluency disorders，Rowan Atkinson begun his own challenge to be an comedian，had given up his chance to be a successful scholar, he chose to give laughing to others , and changed himself into a character that the whole world will never forget, Mr Bean. 

Best known for his use of physical comedy in his Mr. Bean persona, Atkinson's other characters rely more heavily on language.

Atkinson was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 2013 Birthday Honours for services to drama and charity.

His Poetry Appreciation teacher begged him to choose another course. Although he handed on the homework on time, he always forced others listen to his speech works. The works was so terrible that the one had listened couldn't fall into sleep. 

In 2009, he criticized homophobic speech legislation, saying that the House of Lords must vote against a government attempt to remove a free speech clause in an anti-gay hate law.

He is an English comedian who is famous around the world for his character Mr.Bean which made him be an international star and earn a nickname “the man with the rubber face".

Atkinson often plays authority figures (especially priests or vicars) speaking absurd lines with a completely deadpan delivery.
